Co-Owner
Dawn Smith (@runswithknives00)
Dawn joined On Point Training in the summer of 2021. As a woman, a mom, a distance runner and a former victim of violence herself, she was able to join up with On Point Training to bring a women's perspective to the business.
It is her passion to help empower people to know the strength they have within themselves.
Dawn's knowledge into social media dangers, trafficking techniques/scams, and women's need for social awareness and safety have helped On Point Training in advancing it's teachings for a broader group.

Being a firearm training ambassador as a female is such an important role. It’s all about empowering and educating others about firearm safety. I want to inspire other women to feel confident and knowledgeable when it comes to firearms. Plus, breaking stereotypes and paving the way for more inclusivity in the industry is always something worth striving for!

Kaila brings attitude, authenticity, and ambition to the On Point Training team. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, push limits, or stand up for what she believes in. She represents the strength and mindset that OPT stands for - prepared, fearless, and unapologetically confident. Her mission? To help others feel empowered, educated, and in control of their own safety. She’s proof that strength can be both fierce and feminine - and that being “on point” is a lifestyle.

I am elated to partner with On Point Training, LLC, as an ambassador for 2025! This local, growing company is focused on self-defense, domestic violence awareness, medical training, weapon safety, and more. I am eager to take their self-defense and medical training classes to further prepare and protect myself and my family. I am also excited to pursue a longstanding passion of mine by helping to raise awareness of domestic violence. Stemming back to the domestic violence clinic I participated in during law school, I have always been passionate about advocating for this important cause.

I am super excited for the opportunity to be an ambassador for On Point Training! As a female, I think it’s incredibly important to empower and encourage women to know how to protect themselves. Often women feel intimated about firearms and self defense. In general, they don’t know where to begin. Being an ambassador is important to bridge the gap and invite more females in the space to learn and train to better protect themselves.

I’m Kiana Michelle, I’m a 22 year old woman in a very big world. Since a little girl i’ve been taught to protect myself from the elements of said world. I think it’s important that women know more about protecting themselves, showing that we can be strong and sexy. We shouldn’t have to worry about our safety or feel helpless. I’m an ambassador to represent young women like myself, and show we can protect ourselves while remaining feminine.

I want to be an ambassador for OPT because as a mother and bartender I never know what’s going to come my way. Safety for my kids and myself is what’s most important to me and with today’s society it’s getting a little scary out there. I want to show my kids and other women that it’s okay to be strong and protect to protect yourself.

I’m honored to be an ambassador for On Point Training. As a veteran, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of being prepared and having the skills to protect yourself and those around you. Too often, women are left out of the conversation when it comes to self-defense and firearm safety. My goal is to help change that — to empower more women to step into this space with confidence, learn, and take control of their own safety
